According to media reports, the family still has not disclosed the medical issue. After learning
about the Salim Khan hospitalised health update, everyone in Bollywood started expressing
their wishes for the faster swift recovery. Among them, Somy Ali has also shared a
heartwarming recall for Salim Khan.

Taking to a story on Instagram, Somy Ali added an emotional note as she spends the best time
with the Khan family. She expressed deep sorrow after knowing about his hospitalisation and
fondly recalled her time in their home. In her post, she noted that the world called Salim Khan as
the legendary writer who fruitfully shaped the careers of stars like Amitabh Bachchan and co-
created super hit movie films such as Sholay.
Calling Salim Khan a father figure, Somy wrote, ‘Living in his home, I was treated like a
daughter, included at the table, engaged in deep conversations about faith, where all religions
were respected and celebrated.’

According to the statement issued by the doctor at Lilavati Hospital, ‘Salim Khan was admitted
to the Lilavati Hospital under Dr Jalil Parkar in the ICU at 8.30 am on Tuesday morning.’ Javed
Akhtar, his long-time friend, also reached the hospital to find updates on the health of the
Bollywood legend.
